My Nintendo E3 Predictions Results

Before Nintendo's press conference at E3 2011 took place I had made some predictions about what would happen Here.

Now I'm going to go over them to see if I was right.



Well first I predicted that Nintendo's new controller would not have a 6 inch touch screen but a smaller one, But it turns out that it does. I was a bit confused by how this would work until they started talking about it and I've watched a couple videos of it in use to understand more. Now I think it could actually be pretty unique and add more to the gameplay of our favorite games.

The second prediction I made was based on a rumor and that the next console the Project Cafe now known as Wii U will have a Mario game as a release title. Well although there is a Mario game in the works for Wii U under the New Super Mario series, it is currently unknown if it will be a launch title, But I think it is still a definite possibility.

My final prediction was a new Smash Brothers game and well I was right but they only announced it and what more is that it's going to be for the Wii U and the 3DS, which is awsome.


Other than my predictions I also listed some things I would like to see and they well pretty close.

I wanted a new StarFox, not the remake of 64 but they did reveal that it will have a new multiplayer battle being better than the one in the original. That being really great left me satisfied with not having a completely new StarFox.

I also said I wanted a Mario game for both the Cafe (Wii U) and 3DS and well I got it.

As for a new Zelda for the 3DS I didn't get one. Kind of a bummer but the good new is that Zelda Ocarina of time 3D will be coming out soon.

Next I wanted a release date for Kid Icarus Uprising and well I at least got the time frame for it. It will be coming in time for the holidays.

Finally a Pokemon MMO is still unheard of from Nintendo.
