What Would I Do As President To Fix The Economy?

Well this is a pretty tough problem to solve, but I've come up with a pretty good plan. A plan so good that if it doesn't work then nothing would. I'll show how any normal person can solve such an issue in just a few simple steps that any President can do (and probably should do).

  • Step 1 (Accepting The Facts)
This step is actually the easiest to accomplish. All I'll do is accept the fact that I or anyone in the government actually know how to fix the budget and run the country.

Now you may think this idea of accepting defeat and your own inadequate intelligence is the worst a President could possibly do. But remember the best leaders are not the smartest or the most powerful but are actually the ones who can use the things they got to their advantage. I'll go further into this in the next step.

  • Step 2 (Finding People Who Can)
After accepting that you cannot solve any of the problems you are faced with when it comes to your presidency. You now must seek out those who can. Remember no great man has become so great alone.

So with the power you obtained from your new position in government, you must use that power wisely. With that in mind I'll use my position to contact the really smart people in the country and the best institutions and instruct them to come up with some ideas to fix this country.

This is pretty much using the concept of drafting people into the army, except with no draft and being targeted to the really intelligent people.

  • Step 3 (Setting up a Communication web)
This step requires me to set up a communication web so those who are now working on the economy issue can easily communicate with each other so they can work together much more efficiency. By working with others they can help each other to perfect there plans more easily as well as find flaws.

With these eggheads working on the situation I believe it would only be a matter of time before the issue is solved.

  • Step 4 (Selecting a plan)
After a year or two (I just estimating), these brilliant people will then propose there plans. Yes I'm estimating that more then one plan will be created. With so many plans we have to then narrow them down to the one which I will use as president.

So these smart people will now work together to figure out which one to use and perhaps during this time they would even improve the plans further. After a while of discussion (perhaps a year) amongst these eggheads, they would then vote on which plan to use. Now only these smart people would be voting on this because they are the ones that understand them the best.

  • Step 5 (Setting the Plan into Motion)
With the plan created it is time to put it in motion. By now my term in office is almost over, but I would concentrate more on the plan then reelection. This is because at this point the people of this country would know the plan as well and will only select a president who will follow it. Also if I'm not select President for a second term, whoever does become President would have to follow the plan or risk a huge riot by the people. So either way the plan created during my time in office would have to be followed.

And that is how I would get the economy fixed.
